Green Project
The Green Project is a comprehensive community empowerment initiative implemented with the financial support of Riksja Travel, focusing primarily on the central hills of Chitwan and the marginalized Terai plains. This project aims to uplift vulnerable communities by addressing key social, economic, and environmental challenges through sustainable and inclusive approaches. In the central hills, where rural populations often face limited access to basic services and economic opportunities, the project works to improve livelihoods and promote environmental stewardship. Similarly, in the Terai region—home to many historically marginalized and economically disadvantaged groups—the project focuses on creating equitable opportunities for development, especially for women and underrepresented communities.
