A recent field visit to the villages of Siddhi has shown positive results from several community development projects. The visit was part of the Comprehensive Community Development Program (CCDP) in Wards 10 and 11 of Kalika Municipality. The team observed progress in fodder seedlings plantation, indicating positive steps toward sustainable livestock feed management. Additionally, a well-constructed latrine was completed by a single mother, with SVSI providing essential construction materials to support the initiative. Furthermore, a follow-up on pig-rearing activities—previously supported by SVSI through training and assistance to 30 farmers—showed encouraging results. Farmers have established well-maintained pig sheds, and the pigs are being raised in a healthy environment with proper care, reflecting the successful application of training.
