SVSI conducted a discussion program that had been held on the condition ofgarbage coming out of Chitwan district and proper management of garbage using modern methods and producing recycled items from it. Martin Nijo, an expert in waste management from the Netherlands, met with the honorable mayors/deputy mayors of Ratnagar, Kalika, Rapti and Bharatpur along with our respected chairman and other team members to discuss these issues.
In conclusion, there is a great need for waste management and we havediscussed the preparation of future possibilities to work on waste management projects by encouraging local income generation by producing recycled materials to bring sustainable change in this matter.
