SVSI organized a team field visit program to the various wards of Kalika Municipality and Ichchakamana Rural Municipality including our project areas on October 30th.
During the visit, we had the great opportunity to meet with single mother groups who became entrepreneurs with the help of SVSI by funding them to start a new venture and the chepang homestay`s initiator Mr. Tilu Praja
It was delightful to meet with Mr.Narjung Chepang, chairperson of Kalika Municipality Ward no 10, and Mr. Santa Bahadur Magar chairperson of Ichchakamana Rural Municipality Ward no 1.and local community leaders who provided the necessary support to SVSI in different programs.
We visited the project sites, viewed the results, and interacted with beneficiaries of our holistic development projects.
Our projects, "One Step in the Development of Siddhi" and "Every Venture Begins with a Dream," have played a crucial role in raising awareness, promoting behavioral change in these communities, and making a better lifestyle for the Chepang communities.
This field visit provided a broader understanding of our work and mission to our newly added team members. We are grateful for the commitment and cooperation of local leaders and local people who have helped SVSI achieve its mission of "Poverty Alleviation With Public Participation"
