On the memorable day of June 10,2023 Sapana Village Social Impact celebrated the successful completion of 3-year project, “Every Venture Begins with a Dream”, held at Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-1, Kaling hill.
The program was conducted under the chairmanship of Mr. Dhruba Giri and unfolded by the chief guest Mr. Dan B. Gurung, Mayor of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, and representative from the FEMI Foundation (Netherlands) Mrs. Vianney Katakam. The event was also graced by the presence of numerous other distinguished guests from other social organizations and chepang community. The program lasted for 8 hours where
approximately 2000 people participated and were served unlimited meal within
entire program hour. The program featured a variety of amazing components, from
the awarding of prizes to the wonderful showcase of incredible talents.
The project, which applied the innovative methodology of 'Learning from the best', rewarded prize money and letters of appreciation to the top fifth winners from each of the 11 clusters in inter-household contest. Similarly, other category of the project intervention were also rewarded such as the best fruit farmer, best goat rearing farmer, best facilitator, and the best health volunteer. The highly anticipated Champions League also crowned its top three winners, who were recognized for their hard work and for keeping consistency in behavioral change. Furthermore, as an inter-cluster contest "Best Mother Group" was awarded to the deserving Kolvanjyang and Chaukidada mother group for their contribution to the community for bringing changes.
