On January 8, 2024, SVSI and KN conducted an introductory and interactive session with Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality to discuss about the project, "Integrated Resource Management of Water in the Central Hills of Nepal." The meeting was attended by Mr. Dan Bahadur Gurung, Chairperson of Ichchhakamana, alongside government officers from the Education, Agriculture, Water, and Planning sectors.
The session featured fruitful discussions and a commitment to collaborative efforts on various aspects of the project. Key initiatives include establishing a community weather station, supporting bee-keeping practices, participating in seed-banking efforts, and other related activities. With a successful meeting concluded, SVSI and KN are now poised to move forward with the project at the activities level, aiming for continued support from the local administration.
