Peer Learning Exchange Visit for 25 coffee farmers from Rain Communities Project

Sapana Village Social Impact organized a two-day "Exposure Visit for Coffee Farmers" for 25 farmers from project areas under the Integrated Resources Management of Water and Ecosystem in Central Hills of Nepal Project. The event, held on May 17-18, 2025, took place at the National Tea and Coffee Development Board in Malepatan, Pokhara.

The visit aimed to help farmers learn modern coffee farming techniques and best practices to improve their production. The program included:

- Theoretical sessions on coffee cultivation and farming methods.

- Practical field training to apply new skills.

- Exhibition visits to coffee nurseries for hands-on learning.

Farmers also participated in an interactive Q&A session with trainer Mr. Nagendra Subedi (Agriculture Technician), where they discussed challenges and solutions in coffee farming.

Sapana Village Social Impact hopes this exposure visit will help farmers adopt improved practices and boost their income. The project supports sustainable farming in Nepal’s central hills.
