Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) successfully organized an MPAC event followed by a Review and Sharing session to assess progress of the Integrated Resources Management of Water and Ecosystem in Central Hills of Nepal (IRMWE) and the Comprehensive Community Development Program (CCDP). The event presented a 29-month progress report of the IRMWE project, funded by IRHA and implemented since 2023 in Wards 1 and 2, along with updates and upcoming plans under CCDP, highlighting work with marginalized communities and key implementation challenges.
The program was attended by Ichhakamana Rural Municipality Chairperson Dan Bahadur Gurung, Vice-Chairperson Maya Silwal, Chief Administrative Officer Chandrakant Basnet, ward chairpersons, SVSI Board Director Mr. Narayan Ban, municipal officials, and the SVSI team. The discussions strengthened partnership and coordination between IRM and SVSI. A major outcome of the event was an agreement in principle to construct the Bhotegau School building through a 50/50 collaborative approach.
