SVSI aims to empower women to become more independent by training them in hospitality – driving lessons, English lessons and more. Independance starts with a job. As a result of the success of our first joint project, we launched a second project together in November 2019 to train 20 disadvantaged women how to become drivers. This project is also supported by Kalika and Ratnanagar Municipality. Besides the driver’s training the programme includes hospitality training, English languages classes, legal awareness, vehicle maintenance and first aid course.
