Under the Integrated Resources Management of Water and Ecosystem in Central Hills of Nepal Project, active community participation has been instrumental in establishing nurseries across the Rain communities; Hattibang, Tobang, Kaule, Chhapdada, and Ghurkesh. This strong commitment of primary stakeholders toward raising awareness on diversified cropping systems and sustainable agricultural practices has drawn great results in our intervention areas.
Additionally, the promotion of agro-ecological production systems has yielded positive outcomes where farmers have adopted diversified vegetable cultivation, representing progress in enhancing productivity and resilience including the cultivation of high-value crops such as tomatoes, cauliflower, and chilies, which shows the potential for sustainable agricultural development in the region.
