Local Families Receive Piglets to Boost Income in Ichhakamana-1 Through CCDP Project

In a step towards creating sustainable livelihoods, twenty families in Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-1 received income generating unit. SVSI distributed two piglets each to 20 primary stakeholders as part of the CCDP project. The event was held in the presence of the Chairperson of IRM-1, Mr. Santa Bahadur Magar. This program aims to promote animal husbandry and help rural families develop new sources of income. By raising the piglets, the recipients can generate earnings through breeding and selling, which supports their financial stability.

The initiative highlights SVSI's commitment to empowering communities. Instead of short-term aid, the project provides resources for long-term growth. By offering practical support like livestock distribution, SVSI hopes to encourage economic self-reliance and lasting prosperity in the area. This piglet distribution is seen as a valuable investment in the community's future, helping families build a more secure and sustainable life.
