Sapana Village has provided 300 eco-stoves to Ratnanagar Municipality Ward No. 3 as part of the first phase of its community support initiative, following a request from the Ward Office.
The eco-stoves are designed to help households reduce firewood consumption, minimize indoor smoke, and benefit from a practical and portable cooking solution. The initiative aims to support families in adopting cleaner cooking practices while reducing their dependence on traditional firewood-based cooking.
The distribution has received encouraging interest and positive feedback from community members, reflecting the growing need for practical and affordable clean-energy solutions at the household level.
Beyond supporting individual families, the initiative contributes to broader environmental goals by helping reduce pressure on local forests, improve household air quality, and promote a cleaner and healthier living environment.
The initiative was made possible with the support of Riksja Travel, whose contribution is helping Sapana Village extend practical environmental and community-based solutions to local families.
Through initiatives such as the eco-stove programme, Sapana Village continues to promote sustainable living, environmental conservation, and community well-being through practical action at the local level.
