Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-1, — SVSI successfully organized the "School Lunch Management and Menu Development Orientation Program" at Hattibang Secondary School. The program was attended by 22 individuals, including the Headteacher, SMC Chairperson, and teacher representatives from each school in the region.
The orientation featured sessions and group work focused on nutritional food, food baskets, and developing weekly menus centered on locally available grains. Participants engaged in step-by-step discussions on lunch management, received an outline of SVSI support, and formulated plans to link women’s groups to the day meal program.
The sessions were highly productive, and the desired outcomes were successfully achieved, marking a significant step forward in enhancing the nutritional standards of school lunches in the area.
