SVSI Distributed 600 Biomass Stoves in Kalika Municipality

In a successful partnership with Kalika Municipality and community people, 600 biomass cooking stoves have been distributed to households in the region. This initiative has brought cleaner, more efficient cooking solutions to families, reducing smoke and health risks in their homes.

Sapana Village Social Impacycontributed 70% of the total cost, while the remaining 30% was jointly covered by the beneficiaries and Kalika Municipality.The stoves have received positive feedback, with stakeholders praising their efficiency and ease of use. Due to high demand, more families are now requesting these stoves. In response, the team has promised to provide additional units soon to meet this growing need. Their contribution has significantly improved the daily lives of many families in the community.
