SVSI Distributes 3,850 Orange Seedlings in Ichchhakamana

In the occasion of Plantation Week, Sapana Village Social Impact successfully distributed 3,850 orange seedlings to farmers in Ward No. 1 (Kolbanjyang) and Ward No. 2 (Tobang) of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality on Friday, 4th July 2025. The initiative, organized during Plantation Week, aims to promote sustainable agriculture while supporting community livelihoods. The seedlings were locally grown by farmers in nurseries established with the support of Sapana Village. In a circular economic model, SVSI purchased the seedlings from the same farmers and redistributed them to other interested farmers for cultivation. This approach not only ensures quality saplings but also strengthens local entrepreneurship by creating a market for nursery growers. The program has been widely welcomed by the community, as it provides farmers with an additional source of income while promoting eco-friendly practices. SVSI remains dedicated to sustainable development and community upliftment through such green initiatives. By integrating environmental conservation with economic opportunities, the organization continues to pave the way for a greener, more self-sufficient future in rural Nepal.
