SVSI Organized Successful Beekeeping Training in Rain Communities Project

Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) organized a two-day beekeeping training for farmers in Ichchhakamana-2, Chitwan. The event, held on May 13 and 14, brought together 26 farmers from five Rain Communities to learn sustainable beekeeping techniques. The training covered both theory and practical skills, including farm visits and hands-on practice with beehives. Participants gained knowledge on managing bees, harvesting honey, and increasing their income through beekeeping. This program is part of the SVSI-IRHA project, which supports self-reliant farming in Nepal’s mid-hill regions. By promoting beekeeping, the project aims to help farmers earn extra income while protecting the environment.
