SVSI Sets Up Vegetable and Fodder Nurseries in Ichchhakamana-1 to Help Farmers

Under the Comprehensive Community Development Program (CCDP), the SVSI has established multiple vegetable and fodder nurseries in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-1. The nurseries have produced healthy, well-matured seedlings, which are now being transplanted into the fields and kitchen gardens of local farmers. This initiative aims to improve food security and increase income for the community.

To further support farming, SVSI has also constructed protective tunnels in select areas. These tunnels will help farmers grow vegetables on a larger scale, even in unfavourable weather conditions. The program is expected to benefit primary stakeholders, including small-scale farmers, by providing them with quality seedlings and modern farming techniques. SVSI plans to continue such initiatives to promote sustainable agriculture in the region.
