Free Pediatric Health Camp 2024
Health Camp Procedures
The medical checks were conducted systematically to ensure efficiency and thorough care. The following steps were followed for each child:
1. Registration: Children were registered upon arrival.
2. Measurements: Height and weight were recorded to assess growth and nutritional status.
3. Diagnostic Tests: Blood tests (haemoglobin) and urine tests were conducted, with malaria tests performed when necessary.
4. Physical Examination: Each child underwent a comprehensive physical examination by a qualified medical doctor.
5. Medication: Prescribed medications were dispensed through an on-site pharmacy.
6. Oral Hygiene Education: Children were educated on proper tooth brushing techniques and provided with a toothbrush.
7. Data Management: All medical findings were systematically recorded in a database for future reference and analysis.
In addition to medical services, the camp distributed warm clothes to those in need. Special attention was given to raising awareness about nutritious food, healthy drinking habits, and dental care, empowering families with knowledge to improve their overall well-being.
