
From Kitchen Staff to Aspiring Baker – The Journey of Mr. Ishwor Chepang
Such is the inspiring journey of Mr. Ishwor Chepang from Icchakamana-2, Tobang.
Ishwor first joined Sapana Village Lodge in the kitchen department, where he gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry. Although he worked hard and learned many skills, he later returned to his village in search of other opportunities. However, deep inside, he realized that this was not his true calling.
After reflection, Ishwor discovered his real passion—baking.
Determined to follow his dream, he returned to Sapana Village with a clear vision for his future. Recognizing his dedication and potential, Sapana Village supported him by providing professional baking training in Pokhara.
After successfully completing the training, Ishwor came back with new knowledge, confidence, and strong motivation. He began baking different varieties of healthy bread using nutritious ingredients such as flour, whole wheat, bran, millet, buckwheat, and other wholesome grains. The focus was not only on taste but also on health, ensuring the bread was both delicious and beneficial.
One of the most meaningful achievements of this initiative is that the bread Ishwor now bakes is being sent to the Chepang Hills, helping provide children with healthy and nourishing food.
Today, Ishwor dreams of opening his own bakery and expanding production on a larger scale. His vision is to make quality and healthy bread accessible to more people while creating opportunities for himself and his community.
His journey is a true example of how dreams, when supported with opportunity and determination, can grow into lasting success. Sapana Village proudly stands beside him as he continues building a brighter future for himself and others.
