From Subsistence to Success: Dil Bahadur Chepang’s Bean Farming Achievement
We are pleased to share the inspiring success story of Dil Bahadur Chepang, who has achieved a remarkable milestone by producing 250 kg of beans in his first harvest. His journey reflects the positive impact of sustainable agricultural support in transforming rural livelihoods.
Through the support of Sapana Village under the Comprehensive Community Development (CCDP) Program, Dil Bahadur received quality vegetable seeds under a seed distribution initiative designed to strengthen food security, enhance income generation, and promote climate-resilient farming practices.
With access to improved resources and practical knowledge, he was able to expand his farming activities, significantly increasing both productivity and income. His transition from subsistence farming to commercial production demonstrates how targeted agricultural interventions can empower rural farmers and create lasting economic opportunities within the community.
