Recognizing her vulnerable economic situation, Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI), under the Comprehensive Community Development Program (CCDP), provided Hira with two piglets in Jestha 2082. In addition to the livestock support, she received basic training on pig rearing, including animal health care, feeding practices, and farm management. Regular technical guidance and follow-up support were also provided to ensure the success of the enterprise.

The support has already begun to generate positive results. Hira successfully sold one pig and earned additional income for her family. The remaining sow later gave birth to four piglets, creating a valuable opportunity to expand her pig-rearing business. As the piglets continue to grow, they are expected to provide further income through future sales.

The additional earnings have helped strengthen the family's economic security and increased their confidence in livestock farming as a sustainable livelihood option. The growing pig enterprise is expected to support household expenses, improve living conditions, and create a pathway toward long-term financial stability.

Reflecting on the support, Hira shared that the pig-rearing program has given her family hope and motivation to build a better future. What began with two piglets has now developed into a promising livelihood opportunity, demonstrating how targeted support can help vulnerable households move toward greater self-reliance and economic resilience.
