For years, the people of Parang and Byartesh village struggled to get water. Women and kids walked hours every day to fetch water from a faraway spring. Villagers, mostly farmers, had to walk for hours to fetch water from distant sources. The scarcity disrupted daily life, agriculture, and livestock rearing, forcing many families to migrate to cities in search of better living conditions. Then Sapana Village Social Impact, with the support of FEMI Foundation, stepped in for an intervention and helped the village by building a water pipeline through Comprehensive Community Development Program. The clean water has now finally reached the village through this Water Project. The time once lost in fetching water is now spent tending to farms, sending children to school, and dreaming of a better future. The village is alive again—not just with water, but with hope. This initiative is a reminder that even the simplest necessity can transform lives.
