Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) has successfully concluded the "45-Day Waiter/Waitress Training" program. The initiative culminated with five young individuals graduating, now equipped with the professional skills and confidence to build sustainable livelihoods in the thriving hospitality sector. The key component of the Vocational Training to Youths program under the CCDP project, was conducted at the Sapana Village Lodge. The program provided a comprehensive, hands-on curriculum designed to meet the demands of the local service industry.
Over the 45 days, trainees immersed themselves in the essentials of professional hospitality. The curriculum covered critical areas such as customer service excellence, proper food and beverage handling, refined restaurant etiquette, and effective communication techniques. This practical approach ensured that graduates are not only certified but are also prepared for immediate entry into the workforce. The graduation of these five youths marks a direct investment in the community's future, enabling them to achieve financial independence and contribute positively to the local economy, particularly within Nepal's growing tourism and service industry. The success of this and other community projects is attributed to the visionary leadership of Sapana Village's founder, Mr. Dhruba Giri. Sapana Village Social Impact continues to demonstrate its deep-rooted commitment to community development, proving that investing in youth is the cornerstone of building a stronger, more self-reliant future for the entire region.
