SVSI Conducts “What After SEE” Session to Guide Chepang Students

Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) organized an impactful “What After SEE” session at Hattibang School for students from two schools in the Chepang community who have recently completed Grade 10. The program aimed to provide clarity, motivation, and practical direction for students as they prepare for the next stage of their academic and career journeys.

During the session, Founder Dhruba Giri shared his personal journey, highlighting real-life challenges and lessons to inspire students to think beyond limitations and stay committed to their goals. Programme Director Sujan Basnet complemented this with a structured presentation, sharing his field experiences and emphasizing the importance of education, personal development, and active community involvement. Through a clear slideshow, students were introduced to different academic pathways and career options, helping them better understand the opportunities available ahead.

The session also saw unexpected but positive engagement, as several Grade 10 students who had not initially been part of the program expressed interest in joining. Recognizing their curiosity and motivation, SVSI welcomed them into the session, ensuring broader participation and inclusivity.

The program created a strong platform for open discussion, reflection, and future planning. SVSI reassured students that this session is only the beginning—ongoing guidance, information, and support will be available to help them make informed decisions about their next steps.

This initiative reflects SVSI’s continued commitment to empowering young people in underserved communities with the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to build a better and more sustainable future.
