A two-day adult health camp organized in the remote Chepang hills with the technical assistance of Bharatpur Hospital, provided essential medical check-ups to more than 100 Ichhakamana residents. The initiative, which aims to bridge the healthcare gap for the underserved community, has been supported by the dedicated support of senior medical professionals from the region. Notably, Dr. Krishna Poudel, Superintendent of Bharatpur Hospital, and Dr. Amar Poudel volunteered their expertise over the weekend.
The camp provided general health check-ups, basic diagnostics, and necessary consultations. For many residents of the Chepang hills, who often face geographical and economic barriers to healthcare, such initiatives are a vital lifeline. The presence of high-level hospital officials has not only elevated the quality of care but has also brought a sense of assurance and visibility to the health challenges faced by the community.
